Each jar of MACADAMIA NUTS contains dehydrated premium halves and pieces embedded in wild honey. Farming: It begins at the plantations with excellent fertilization, every day hand-labor and biological pest controls. We monitor aflatoxins in the field, heavy metals and nutrients in our soils. The water used to clean and wash the macadamia kernel is potable spring water from the high mountains of the Andes. The bees are fed with flowers from coffee, citric and macadamia trees, so the honey have a distinct taste. Production process: Macadamia in-shell is cracked, selected, washed, dried, selected again for a 2-step quality inspection process to ensure the best quality nuts and embedded in wild honey. Differentiation: Our products are not roasted, they are dehydrated, plus fully washed and separated into high and low oil macadamia nuts. Only high oil macadamia nuts are exported. Wild honey is collected from behives in our plantations and surrounding areas. The honey is dark, natural and sweet. This product is different from conventional honey roasted macadamia nuts because is not roasted and macadamias are embedded in real honey. Characteristic: High oil content macadamias are chrunchier, sweeter and last longer. Its appearance is light beige and not rancid. Nutritional Value: Macadamia nuts have a high nutritional value for a good cardiovascular health, makes you feel fuller and contributes with dietary fiber and protein for a healthy diet and a better digestion.
